DIRECTIONS
Both zip files contain the same information, only in different file formats.
PLEASE CHOOSE ONE OF THE FOLLOWING:
1. To get one zipped file
which contains all the image (.dat) and metadata (.mdf) files necessary
to complete this exercise

(.doc) files needed to complete this exercise in IDRISI for Windows 1.0.

Explanation on how to use zip files
All files are zipped and contain a .zip
extension. To use one of these files, click on the file name and download
the file to your machine. Use a version of unzip to inflate the file into
.dat and .mdf files. The .dat file is an image file and the .mdf file is
the metadata file.
To download a copy of unzip for use on a UNIX,
DOS or MacIntosh platform go to the ftp site located at ftp.uu.net:/put/archiving/zip.
FTP SITE
These files can also be obtained through the ftp site located
at ftp.umbc.edu . Login as anonymous and use your login address
as your password. The files are located at pub/gis/rscc/vol4uhi.
